PvP gear is going to be competitive in WPvP, oh no the sky is falling... But seriously Calm down Chicken Littles.
It's required especially because (unless someone has links that prove me wrong) battle-fatigue and base resil aren't going anywhere until WoD. Until they do PvE gear has the giant advantage of stats STILL even in normal SoO gear, which is easier than anything to wow gold obtain especially with incoming nerfs.
If they do get rid of base resil with the upcoming patch then still who really cares, PvP gear will be good in WPvP like it should be, and in your super special H PvE gear you'll be the ones who are still competitive.
